Yes, we have a netwrok of bed and breakfasts we can reccomend that are riverside and can provide a suitable cable & padlock to leave your boats securely overnight

Don't see a route you like? Here's our route planning advice.

Planning the right route for your canoe expedition can feel like a fine art especially on the River Wye where camping locations can seem either difficult to find or few and far between, so, we have built the Wild Otter app to help you plan stops, pubs, shops and see features on the river.

We are happy to have phone calls, zoom meetings and as many emails as you need prior to your trip to ensure you are confident you have everything in place.

Transport & parking included

Included in your hire fee is full minibus transport for people and equipment no matter how far you go.

Secure parking for the duration of your expedition is also included, typically we meet you at the start location of your trip with your equipment, we then check in along the way and our bus is waiting at the end to return you and your equipment to your car.

Worried about forgetting something? We have plenty of experience with forgetting things and will meet you along the way with what ever it is you need.

We believe that the knowledge you are supported leads to a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Expedition Support

Along the River Wye there are a couple of areas that are a little more exciting than else where on the river, with 14 years experience on the River Wye we have seen how the right support in these locations can really make the experience special.

For Symonds Yat we meet you at the rapids and provide helmets, expert advice / guiding and bring our "big" camera to capture the experience for you as well as rescue cover if needed.

For The tidal section on the last day down to Chepstow we provide a guide for the day to ensure you get the very best experience and navigate the river down to the infamous Severn estuary safely.

Our team is on call 24 hours a day when you book this experience with us meaning we can assist with advice or if needed a pick up service.
