Don't see a route you like? Here's our route planning advice.

Planning the right route for your canoe expedition can feel like a fine art especially on the River Severn where camping locations can seem either difficult to find or few and far between, so, we have built the Wild Otter app to help you plan stops, pubs, shops and see features on the river.

We are happy to have phone calls, zoom meetings and as many emails as you need prior to your trip to ensure you are confident you have everything in place.

Transport & parking included

Included in your hire fee is full minibus transport for people and equipment no matter how far you go.

Secure parking for the duration of your expedition is also included, typically we meet you at one of our locations depending where you are planning to start from and transport you to the start and at the end simply return you to your vehicle.

Worried about forgetting something? We have plenty of experience with forgetting things and will meet you along the way with what ever it is you need.

We believe that the knowledge you are supported leads to a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Expedition Support

Along the River Severn there are a couple of areas that are a little more exciting than else where on the river, with 10 years experience on the River Severn we have seen how the right support in these locations can really make the experience special.

For Shrewsbury Weir we meet you at the weir and help you with the lift out and carry round to make your journey as enjoyable as possible.

For Jackfields rapids our highly qualified & experienced instructors meet you and guide you through if you wish to run them providing helmets, expert guiding, photos and rescue cover if needed.

Our team is on call 24 hours a day when you book this experience with us meaning we can assist with advice or if needed a pick up service.
